The first name of the nineteenth edition of the Uprising Festival is Tiken Jah Fakoly – the iconic voice of Africa from Côte d’Ivoire, a tireless fighter for social justice and a guardian of the pure and authentic Roots Reggae tradition. His concerts in Africa attract tens to hundreds of thousands of spectators. Tiken Jah Fakoly uses music as a weapon against corruption and for freedom. Despite threats and exile, he does not stop fighting! Since 2004, he has been behind the project “One Concert, One School”, thanks to which he has already built 6 schools in West Africa! 📚🌍
